41 Former Muslims Received Baptism

By God’s grace, 41 former muslims received baptism in the Middle East on December 7, 2016.

“Bibles for Mideast” (http://bibles4mideast.com) conducted baptism ceremony. It was done in a highly restricted area.

The organization had been planning to have a mass baptism for all of them together. And they reached in a bus at a seashore early in the dawn of a day, but found a tight police patrolling in that area.

“We smelled a dangerous situation at the seashore, so we returned back and spent time with fasting and prayer one more day. Then we divided the people into three groups and conducted the service in three different places on the next day”, Pastor Paul, the Director of the organization said.

All of the baptism candidates requested personally to the leaders of “Bibles for Mideast” to have baptism.

They all accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior and Lord. They fully believe that Lord Jesus Christ crucified and died on the Calvary and resurrected from the dead for their own sin. By His blood they got redemption. So they wanted to be purified in the Spirit and the Water to  get ready to meet Jesus Christ – the Bridegroom, who is coming in the clouds soon to take His Bride.  Our Lord’s return is imminent, they all believe.

Bibles for Mideast conducted a five days global fasting prayer on November 30 to December 4. The baptism candidates participated five days fasting prayer to prepare themselves for the baptism service. But they have to had one more day for fasting prayer before their baptism.

The organization had a special meeting on December 5 to take certain decisions for the growth of the church in Asia, Africa and Middle East among Muslims.

There are nearly 150 underground house churches worshiping the Lord in different areas under the directorship of the Bibles for Mideast.

Pastor Paul said in his inaugural address that all of the house churches must come under a separate church administration. And also he said every church must become self-supported and missionary sending churches. The meeting seriously discussed about it and appointed a sub-committee for further action.

Bibles for Mideast is not a church, but it is a missionary organization to spread the gospel, distribute the Bibles and establishing churches. So all the churches need a spate administration and curriculum.

Pastor Paul also strongly instructed  all the churches to give one Bible each to every believers as Christmas and New Year gift. But they must present that Bible to one of their best Muslim friends as their own Christmas and New Year  gift with the message of salvation. Through this way we can win others to Christ as well as  train our believers as missionary minded people and the church as missionary church.

Five Days Fasting Prayer on 30 Nov. to 4 Dec., 2016.

Bibles for Mideast (http://bibles4mideast.com)  call for a five days fasting prayer from 30 November (Wednesday) to 4 December (Sunday), 2016.

All the members of the Director Board,  members of all the gospel teams and house churches, and other believers in Asia, Africa and Middle East participating for the fasting prayer. Those who are fasting and praying will avoid two times food from midnight to 3’O clock in the afternoon and spend time for prayers as well as praising and thanking the Lord.

We request all of our prayer partners and all the children of God around the globe to join with us this fasting prayer by leaving at least one time food on these days and spend time for prayers and worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God” (Ps 50:23).

Those who are unable to take fasting, please join with us in prayers at least three times per day. God will hear our prayers and also will bless of those who are kneeling for prayers. “When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10).

Guide Us To The Straight Path

“Ih’dina Sirathwal musthakim” is the fifth verse of the first Surah of the Qur’an and it means “Guide us to the straight path”.

There is a tradition saying that ‘sirathwal musthakim’ is a narrow bridge over hell to heaven which is made out of seven torn pieces of a hair. The righteous can pass over the bridge without any trials; but the wicked will go to hell.

A worldly man cannot pass over the narrow bridge. Jesus says in the Book of Injil (Gospel), “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

The Qur’an gives warning to mankind “Lo! they who deny our revelations and scorn them, for them the gates of Heaven will not be opened nor will they enter the garden until the camel goeth through the needle’s eye” (Qur’an 7:40).

As in the Qur’an there is a Right Narrow Path to get into Heaven.

The Qur’an 7:10-17 says: “God created Adam out of mud, fashioned him and told the angels to fall and prostrate before the man. Iblis (Lucifer) did not obey. God degraded him. Still he asked God for reprieve till the day when the human beings are raised from the dead. It was granted. Then Iblis (satan) said to God that he will lurk in ambush of man on God’s Right Path. Again he said that he will go upon them from before them and from behind them and from their right hands and from their left hands for God would not find most of them beholden”.

Mankind does not see the Right Narrow Path, because it is hidden by Iblis. Also he tries to lead them into wrong, broad and worldly ways. But the Muslim world knows the broad path is not the right one to heaven. And still praying to God to show us the Right Path.

In the book of Injil (New Testament of the Bible) Jesus says, “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” (Luke 13:24). In the Scripture of the Holy Bible, same Jesus declared : “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6).

The Qur’an says in 19:21 about Jesus as a revelation for mankind and a mercy from God, and it is a thing ordained.

Jesus destroyed the head of Iblis, and opened the narrow door of Heaven. He says: “In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Also He has given grace for those who are born of God so they can overcome the world.

Yes! It is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith. I John 5:4,5 says, “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”

But still it is very sad to say that Gospel is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5 that “there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

The Qur’an also says very clearly that Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near unto God (Qur’an 3:45). So we may keep our duty to God and obey Jesus (Qur’an 3:50; 43:61).

The Bible is the word of God. It well explained why Jesus, the Son of the Most High came down from heaven as the Son of Mary. "But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons" (Galatians 4:4).

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

"For Jesus hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2Cor 5:21).

"But as many as received Jesus, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).

God doesn't allow anyone goes astray. Dear Muslim brothers and sisters, believe in Christ Jesus as the Son of God and your personal savior and Lord  to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven through the Right Narrow Path, which is Jesus, the Word of God (Kalimathullah) – John 1:1,14; the Spirit of God (Ruhullah) – John 4:24, 2 Cor 3:17: and the Messiah of God (Massihullah) – John 4:26, who became a ransom for many (Mark 10:45).

Yes! Jesus is the Right Narrow Path. For He is the Way, the Truth and the Life  By faith in Jesus you can easily enter into the heaven.

Say the following prayer in your heart and by mouth. GOD THE HEAVENLY FATHER, I BELIEVE IN JESUS AS YOUR ONLY BEGOTTEN SON WHO CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND DIED ON THE CROSS AND RISEN FROM THE DEAD TO GIVE ME ETERNAL LIFE AND SALVATION. I ACCEPT JESUS AS MY PERSONAL SAVIOR AND LORD. FILL ME WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT THAT I MAY WALK WITH JESUS MY LORD ACCORDING HIS WILL AND COMMANDMENTS. AMEN !! 

Militants Bombed Ladies House of Bibles for Mideast; Two seriously injured

The house of Bible women of Bibles for Mideast  (http://bibles4mideast.com)  were bombed by muslim militants in the Middle East on Friday, 18 November at night.  Two of them are seriously injured.

The young woman named Ramza who was killed by father and raised from dead by Jesus Christ was miraculously  escaped with minor injuries.

There were six women were staying together in a home doing Lord’s ministry by  distributing Bibles among women and evangelizing them as well as  laboring for their livelihood as farm laborers.

Ramza was staying with them after she was raised up from dead by Jesus Christ.

After night prayer, women went to bed. While they were sleeping, they heard terrible bomb shot and seen the house was burning. They screamed aloud and tried to get out from the house. But there was some men standing with guns at the door step.

“When we came out, they gunshot towards us. So we are forced to go back inside of the house. At that time two of us fallen down under the fire and seriously burnt”, said Saleeha who escaped from the attack.

“By this time neighboring people reached at our house with weapons and the attackers left the spot”, the elder woman told.  “There were five to seven attackers came to kill us. They came by motor bikes. But our Lord Jesus Christ protected our lives”, she added.

Christ Jesus is our mighty Savior and Lord. He is able to keep us safe. Whether we live or die, we belong to Him”, Ramza said.

The injured women are hospitalized. And the other women shifted from that place to another. Pray for them.

Can Jesus Bear Our Burden ?

The book of Torah in the Bible (Genesis) describes that Almighty God created man out of dust in His image, after His likeness and gave him life through the Word to be the overseer of all creations. He named him Adam.

God had a definite plan to glorify His name through mankind. For that He wanted man to be surrendered unto Him.

To obey each and every law of God is total surrendering. But Adam disobeyed, ate of the tree of which God commanded him not to eat. So he sinned.

Suppose you appoint a new servant for your household. He is bonded to obey your rules. Do you ever like it if he doesn’t obey your commands, moving in his own ways and making friendship with your enemies? You will fire him out immediately and will make sure that he does not get any support from your subordinates and friends.

If God was like us, He would have removed man and would not have allowed the universe to continue forever more. But our merciful God did not destroy Adam. He just cast him from the paradise as a punishment for sin and granted permission to live on earth (that is also God’s creation) and from the sweat of his face to eat. Also He promised the Messiah, Jesus, who is the Word from God, Son of (woman) Mary, illustrious in the world and hereafter as the deliverer from sin.

The Qur’an says: “Lo! the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him out of dust, then He said unto him: Be! and he is. (This is) the Truth from Thy Lord. (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver” (Qur’an 3:59-60).

How Jesus is likeness of Adam?

Adam was created as a faultless man. The Prophet David says in the book of Zabur (Psalms): “What is man that thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that thou dost care for him? Yet thou hast made him little less than God, and dost crown him with glory and honor. Thou hast given him dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the sea” (Psalms 8:4-8).

The Qur'an 2:34 says that God asked the angels to prostrate before Adam. All fell prostrate; but Iblis (Lucifer) demurred through pride, and so became Satan. Hence Satan made Adam disobedient; so he too became as a sinner. From him all the generations became under the sin.

Bible says, "And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth" (Genesis 5:3). Here we see Adam begat a son in his (Adam's) likeness and image. When Adam was created, he was in God's likeness and image (Genesis 1:26; 5:1). At that time he was crowned with glory and honour (Psalms 8:5). But when he sinned against God, he lost his glory and honour and understood he and his wife are naked (Genesis 3:7). Means, they lost the likeness of God and owned the likeness of sin. Genesis 5:3 says with the likeness of sin he begat Seth.

The Prophet David says in Zabur: “Behold I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalms 51:5).

The Injil (The New Testament of the Bible) also says very clearly: “For there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). But the same word promised a remedy too: “They are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus”.

The Qur’an says in several verses: “No burdened soul can bear another’s burden” (35:18; 39:7; 53:38).

That means only unladened souls can bear another’s burdens.

Both the Bible and the Qur’an say that Jesus was born as a faultless man. “He (Archangel Gabriel) said (to Mary): I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son” (Qur’an 19:19). The Hadith (traditions of Islam) also says that all the children of Adam are touched by Satan at their birth, except Jesus, son of Mary.

The Bible says about Jesus: “For it was fitting that we should have such a High Priest, holy, blameless, unstained, separated from sinners, exalted above the heavens” (Hebrews 7:26).

Once Jesus directly asked to the Jews, “Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? He who is of God hears the words of God; the reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God” (John 8:46).

Yes! Jesus was faultless by birth and life. He can carry the laden of sin from each one of the world.

Jesus said in the New Testament: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Prophet Yahya (John the Baptist) was borne witness of Jesus. He declared about Jesus, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29).

In the second letter of Paul to the Corinthians we read: “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). No doubt! Jesus took all our sins and died on the cross to give us eternal life. “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses” (Ephesians 1:7).

In the letter to the Hebrews also we can see as it is: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sins which clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1-2).

In the book of Qur’an Jesus said: “And (I come) confirming that which was before me of the Torah (the law of Moses), and to make lawful some of that which was forbidden unto you. I come unto you with a sign from your Lord, so keep your duty to God and obey me” (Qur’an 3:50).

“When Jesus came with clear proofs (of God’s sovereignty), he said: I have come unto you with wisdom, and to make plain some of that concerning which ye differ. So keep your duty to God , and obey me” (Qur’an 43:63).

What do you think? Isn’t it a must to obey Jesus by accepting him as Lord and Savior?

But the children of Israel denied Jesus, though they were the chosen people of God. They lost eternity. Because they at the time looked for a warrior king savior they were blind to the truth that Jesus Christ was that Messiah promised by their own prophets.

Islamists March for Ouster of Christian Governor in Indonesia

Around 150,000 hardline Muslim protesters rallied outside the Presidential palace  in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia on Friday, 4 of November, 2016 to demand the resignation of the governor of Jakarta, who they said had insulted the Koran.

Basuki Tjahja Purnama, popularly known as Ahok, the Governor of Jakarta, who is a Christian. He was planned for a re-election bid in February.

Ahok is the first ethnic  governor in the country. He is a member of Indonesia’s Christian minority and a Chinese heritage. Christianity is  up one percent of the population.

Ahok took the governatorial seat in Jakarta in 2014, which was vacated when Joko Widodo was elected as president. But hardline Muslims have opposed his rise to power.

The protesters, led by a group called the Islamic Defenders Front, demanding the Governor Ahok to be jailed for blasphemy. They waved placards and chanted "Hang Ahok" and "Allahu Akbar", missionaries of Bibles for Mideast  (http://bibles4mideast.com) report from Indonesia.

Although the rally had been mostly peaceful, violence ensued as police clashed with protesters who disobeyed instructions to disperse after nightfall. Police used tear gas and water cannon in attempts to control the angry demonstrators. One man died while four civilians and three police officers were injured as a result of the clash.

Police officials  calculate  it is the second biggest protest against Ahok in less than a month. In October, another protest against him gathered at City Hall.

About 18,000 soldiers and police, some equipped with rifles, were on patrol and secured shopping malls in Jakarta during the procession.

Indonesia is the largest Muslim populated country in the world, (India is the second largest Muslim populous nation  and Pakistan is in third position).

"Ahok is not Muslim, but he humiliated the Koran," protesters said.

Many of the protesters wore white robes and Muslim caps and gathered at the central Istiqlal Mosque, the biggest mosque in the country, before they began moving toward the presidential palace.

There were smaller protests against Ahok in other cities including Surabaya, Makassar and Medan.

Ahok but hardline Muslims have opposed his rise to power. has a reputation as a tough reformer. He will compete for re-election against two Muslims - Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, a son of former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and a former education minister, Anies Baswedan.

The governor has built a reputation of being a tough reformer who is determined to clean up Jakarta’s streets and battle corruption in government. These traits have made him widely popular and have given him an edge on next year’s election. However, Islamic hardliners oppose him and do not want him to hold a government position because of his faith in Jesus Christ.

Ethnic Chinese make up just over one percent of Indonesia's 250 million people, and they typically do not enter politics.

Indonesia suffered a series of Islamist militant attacks early in the last decade. In the most serious incident, 202 people were killed in bombings of a nightclub on the island of Bali in 2002.

An attack in Jakarta early this year by supporters of Islamic State raised fears of a new wave of violent militancy.

Pray for Governor Ahoka and family as well as Christians in Indonesia. Also pray for the ministries of “Bibles for Mideast”, its missionaries and the new believers.
